Our Location

Our hair salon is right on 2nd St in Downtown Clayton but also right behind “Brick and Mortar” restaurant on Main St. If you would prefer to use our easy access ramp, you may enter from that direction as well!

    This is the only place my children will get their hair cut! We all love Kristy and we love her prices! Most importantly she knows how to give a great cut that is easy to maintain which is very important to my wife. She has been getting hair cuts and face waxes there almost every month for years. I get great cuts at Clayton Hair Salon also!

    I prefer to submit a rating based on more than one or two interactions. I’ve had three terrific haircuts by Kristty at Clayton Hair Salon. I’m actually about to make another appointment.
    It’s my opinion that one reason Kristty does a great job is that she listens. Another seems to be that when I’m in her chair, she is focused on my head, not answering the phone or chatting up other people. Kristty is very professional and personable.
    The shop is charming and clean. My man now goes here and likes Kristty’s work better than the barber he’d been going to.

    I needed to find a new place to get my hair cut close to home with absolutely no idea where to start. So I got on the internet, did some research and decided to take a chance on Clayton Hair Salon. The things that I liked about it was that it wasn’t like some of the other Clayton Salons that are “tragically hip” and you pay for the atmosphere, and also it didn’t seem to cater towards small kids or teens. All I want is a great haircut for a fair price. And I am so pleased that I found it!

    I must also say that one of the reasons I chose Clayton Hair Salon is I saw on the website that their Manicurist is Becky Gordon, and she had done my nails at another place a few years ago and she is AMAZING. So that settled it, I called and made my hair appointment.

    Kristty was everything I was hoping for and more! Her shop is in an adorable old historic-style home in Clayton’s beautiful little downtown area, and there is plenty of parking available. She took me on a tour and every room was done very professionally. She offered me a drink but I had brought one in. She was easy to talk to and understood exactly what my hair needs were and she gave me some great advice that I’m still using today. I even called her back a couple of days after my appointment to tell her how happy I am with my cut. I’m looking forward to going back and seeing Kristty again!

    I moved from SoCal to Clayton in April 2016, and I’ve been searching for a good cosmetologist ever since. I wanted to find someone who I could depend upon for a good cut and style.     Kristy cut my 87 year old mom’s hair and she did a fabulous job! Senior hair cuts are a challenge – my mom has lost a lot of her hair, and what is left is baby fine yet “wirey” at the same time. The proof was when my mom did her hair herself – it actually falls in such a way it looks good with very little effort. Now THAT is a good cut!
